Räsymattoja ym. kudonnaisia ~ Rag rugs and other things woven

Ensimmäinen ryijyni, kangaspuissa poppanaloimeen kudottu. Aika pienihän se on, 45 x 30 cm, mutta ihan itse suunniteltu. Langat ison ryijyn jämiä, suvussa perittyjä. Pohjana tummanvihreä mikäpä lienee lanka. Harjoitellessahan tämä meni, seuraavaa tehdessäni tiedän jo alusta lähtien enemmän. Todella mukavaa tätä oli kutoa.

A rug, made of wool yarn in the loom. It´s quite small, only 17 x 12 inches, but it´s my own design and the first of a kind I´ve ever made. I wove some dark green yarn between each line of fringe. It was good practice to make this, and I know a lot more when I start another one. I thoroughly enjoyed making this.

  Piparminttu on 80 cm leveä ja 220 cm pitkä räsymatto, ensimmäinen matto erittäin pitkän tauon jälkeen. Kalalankaloimi, sekalaiset kuteet.
