Pieniä tilkkutöitä Small quilts

Tämä seinävaate oli tekeillä aika pitkään, ei tosin aktiivisesti. Applikoin kukat ja lehdet koneella käyttäen apuna kaksipuolista liimaharsoa. Reunuskangas oli jo sen verran kortilla, että piti nurkissa vähän soveltaa. Ruskean keskusneliön reunaan käsintikkauksen yhteydessä tein kirjontalangalla ketjupistoin ylimääräisen kehyksen. Palkeet muuten ovat myös omatekemät, koulussa seiskaluokalla.

It took me a long time to get this one finished. Flowers are appliqued using fusible web by machine. I had to add some extra squares for the corners because I was running out of the frame fabric. I hand quilted the center part, and added some embroidery echoing the brown center square. Btw, I have made the item next to the quilt as well myself, at school on 7th grade.

  Another small wallhanging, made of a piece of scrappy braid. It´s pieced by machine and quilted by hand. It´s 9 x 18 inches by size. I will give this to to a certain person who likes green.

Toinen pieni seinävaate joka on tehty pätkästä braidia. Koneella ommeltu, tikattu käsin. Koko on 23 x 45 cm. Tämän saa eräs joka tykkää vihreästä.

  Small wallhanging is 12 x 21 inches by size. In real life the colors are softer. I sewed a piece of braid of scraps, then added some borders. Machine pieced, hand quilted.

Pieni seinälle ripustettava juttu on 30 x 53 cm kokoinen. Värit ovat oikeasti pehmeämmät. Ompelin braid-pätkän jämätilkuista ja laitoin reunuksia. Koneella ommeltu, käsin tikattu.
